Im very confused. And I get the point about being trans, transphobia, facisim in America even under a new label. Not really getting the haunted house aspect which is in all fairness just a cooy of Shirley Jackson. I think that theres a lot of undertones, irony, euphimisms im missing. Like the gender dysphoric side where one is jealous or fearful of the character and vice versa idk
