perhaps an unpopular opinion but i fucking love when you can tell what the twist is going to be, all because you put together all the little details and tidbits the text has handed you. i genuinely love these kind of mysteries.

i feel like a BAD twist is one that you don't see coming to the point where it just feels shocking to be shocking. i hate that.

im at the edge of my mf seat... also its been a long time since ive enjoyed a book written in this style: third person, present tense. i tend to prefer writing that is quite literally inside the characters' head, and this book manages to do that, whilst using the third person of it all to dislodge us here and there... its really nice.
