Listening as audiobook, and I think I’d like this more in print, but still quite enjoying it so far. I love the intricacies of gender and this book is rife with gender intricacy. The characters are messy, but this creates an interesting plot and stage for the exploration and analysis of what it means to be trans to oneself, to others, and how the perceptions of others influence our perceptions of ourselves
