I knew it. But wow I did not expect this. And here I was happy to see the pigeon (and the others) laugh and be happy. What a sad life! The harvest gala only happens once every twenty years. So does the harvest (and the sacrifices) only happen once every twenty years too? That was morbid. I’m honestly at a loss for words. Feeding them. And entertaining them only to harvest what? Their emotions/joys for the rich?

I’m glad that Pigeon got Soluna’s power, will I change my mind down the road? I don’t think so but knowing Remender I’m a bit scared. I felt sad when he saw Noom’s body, poor thing. And I was right, the Husks are kids who got their essence extracted and now live to serve the Foreman. What a miserable life. I loved this to pieces the story and art are both superb! I can’t wait to continue reading volume 2!

And that is how end a volume! What a journey we’ve went on in just six issues! It’s insane! Soluna is now powerless, and her mother is gone, killed by her father, I’m very excited to see where she goes from there. I like Luna’s design. The fact that there are multiple forms makes so much sense. It’s so fun! Also, I can’t wait to see the consequences or Luna’s death. Rokos reign is nearing its end

By extracting Soluna’s essence would that make him a god too? Or it’s just revenge against Rokos? I would be mad too if it were my invention and Rokos took all the credit to himself. But then again if Rokos found out it would all go downhill, right? The foreman all but declared rebellion with this. That was a dark issue. Very dark. Also, where did Pigeon go? And is he okay? I’m scared.

Soluna is a good fighter but then again if the servants were just kids that are mutated and transformed into this grotesque form then they didn’t have a chance right from the get go. But the Forman is right, she was overconfident and even brought her pet (Dotox) along with her. That was a mistake. She had a horrible awakening. I feel bad for the pet. It is crazy that he’d managed to extract her essence. Now what?

I did not see that one coming! First of all, the Forman is a pigeon/bird? WHAT? I was certain he was some kind of insect. So that is why my brother was saying he can’t wait for me to find out his race. And, his servants are children whose essence was extracted right? That boy’s skin is the same color is theirs. What a horrible fate. And the Forman and Joy being together well, didn’t see that one coming either.

He had really quit and will let Rokos sort this whole sacrifice business on his own. I really love his design. It’s so cool. And Soluna having a flying carpet! It’s her father’s but still! It’s so cool. His sword too (which is now Soluna’s) is really cool too. I like Soluna a lot!

They’re forever yoked under Rokos. Well, unless someone else repelled to take over and I have a feeling that Kronious might do just that. The panel composition after they drank the elixir was so cool! I really love the art so much. The Foreman is very displeased with what happened (I would be, Rokos stole the credits) and flew off somewhere (his flying ship/motor? is so cool) I wonder if it’s just a tantrum or

What a stellar issue! We start off with the pigeon’s family and what a heartbreaking scene that was! Poor little Beatrice. She’s observant and attentive. I felt so bad for the father too. It is all just messed up. And then we cut to gala, Luna doesn’t take part in the celebration (not where it matters at least) and doesn’t drink the elixir. Which gives eternal youth to the Lords and Ladies, thus ensuring that

Queen Luna is quite interesting. The troupe that came and whisked the kids away with songs were quite whimsical and fun. Just before it all went downhill. The last scene gave the chills. This is peak!

So I was right, Rokos is in charge and there are Lords in charge of each municipality but it seems like they all bow to him.though this might change. Kronious, Lord of Labor and Gears (whose design is superb) seems like he might be a problem. His wife, Luroxum had an affair with Lord Aquatica. Mithera, Paramour of Climate and Lord Fniff don’t seem to get along too. I enjoyed getting all the gossip from Soluna
