More interesting as there’s a little plot movement. Although many passages are filled with over-the-top description.

Interesting however, some of the passages tend to ramble and are filled with tangential references and stories. Need to start a tracker to follow all the lines.

Very dense literature. There is a lot of character introductions, with limited background information, so far. It is presented as a memoir as he is looking back on his long life.
