How does this book have such a high rating? The misogyny is overwhelming, it's loaded with bad grammar and typos, the love interest is controlling and disrespectful, and the plot is held together with plot device fairy floss

Hm, this very long, plot-heavy chapter had a lot of half-baked logic and moments that made me go ???? why tho???
