i half think it’s too word-y in a way a debut novel can be, to show the writer CAN indeed strong beautiful sentences together. that doesn’t mean i’m not liking it but i want to know what happened at the bottom of the ocean real bad so i hope we get some sort of explanation

oh something is Wrong wrong

this thing of being trapped in a submarine at the bottom of the ocean for months has got to be one of my top three nightmares ever so i’m properly intrigued and horrified already
