i don’t think i can read this anymore. i’m rlly trying but vandermeer dropped the ball on this. annihilation was such a good book and then authority was a boring slogfest. now acceptance is only good *sometimes.* this book would be 4 stars if control and ghost bird’s pov wasn’t in it. i’m trying to finish it bc saul and the director’s povs are great but i might DNR
