I can’t lie dog that was about 100+ page slog of unnecessary romance subplot that i pushed through just to get back to Celene’s section. Mid-book of 2nd books are usually slow but that was really overdone here. In fact that may legit bring my rating of the whole book down when i’m done, which is really disappointing

this book is already so much more well written- the prose and dialogue feel elevated, and i even loved book 1. The writing and style are sincerely matured and i’m so grateful. This series may take over my life and leave me devastated when it ends.
