so I'm going to dnf this -- I may pick it up again in the future. it's fine...totally fine. I really like her writing which I expected to. I have Alix Harrow's other books on my tbr and I absolutely ADORED her short story. this is just not super interesting or compelling to me. I'm also super in the mood for fantasy and romantasy.
