First time, or reread?

First time and really liked this one! Have you read just the series or done the Dark Tower along with other books in this world? I’m hedging towards the later now after watching a few YouTube videos.

I’ve read every King book ever published. However, I read this series early on and didn’t read a lot of the connective stories first (Ex. The Talisman, The Stand, etc.)

If you had to do it over, is there one book that I should essentially read with this series? I think I'm planning on doing a reread of Salem's Lot even if it's audio. I'm definitely planning on getting to Everything's Eventual, Hearts of Atlantis and Insomnia before I get to Wolves of the Calla.

I ask because there's so many opinions on this! Ahhhhh
