What a delight. The last few chapters had me rushing through each page to discover the Darcy daughter's exploits. The more I read the more I felt I was reliving some classics. This book gave a feeling of "Sense and Sensibility" crossed with "Northanger Abbey" and "Emma". Though I am from the south, the use of incorrect grammar for the Layard character, stumbled my reading and understanding of the plot.
