Despite Katherine’s rise to the mistress of the uncle to the current king, I find it surprising that she doesn’t do much. The serfs have no reason to complain. She is concerned about her bastard children’s future yet doesn’t talk to John about it to secure an income for them should he you know, die. The religion that used to be the cornerstone of my life? Too uncomfortable to think about my sins.
