I know there are so many recs out there where people say “If you like this…, read this…” but if Fourth Wing is your jam - this book is actually giving Fourth Wing vibes - like it’s giving the same feel for me as when I first read FW

- the academy setting
- the found family

but there is unique aspects like elemental magic and the FMC has a funny, sarcastic type humor
