A beauty and the beast love story at its finest

The main protagonist slowly shows a bit of herself - funny, but witty.

The action in this book has left me breathless. The individuals have powers - some don’t - and you never know who’s going to be killed. It could be your friend or your brother. Middle of this book there is some serious action going on.

I love the banter between the two characters, like the one has a knife in their back & the other wants to pull it out and threaten to stab their own knife into the back

I am surprised how this author goes into depth in her descriptions of fighting. I could literally picture how it’s being done
