Because I am dumb, why did they have to sneak out of Ukraine? During the cold War. 70's? 80's?
They had fake papers. Went to Hungary, then Austria. A church sponsored them.and they came here. They defected? I dunno. Guess they couldn't just hop on a plane and come. Then, they were apart of the USSR. Hm.

It's naive and ignorant to assume that if u live in a small town, there would be no drugs, kidnappings etc. That's so stupid.( Spencer thought it)
