After finishing the first book, I wasn’t totally convinced I’d enjoy this series, but this one has been much easier to listen to so far. The nickname “little one” still makes me cringe occasionally, but I understand the reasoning behind it after the reveal at the end of book one.
Also not a huge fan of the male narrator when he voices the FMC during the MMC’s POV, but he does a good job with the MMC.
