I hated this book. I couldn’t believe her lack of empathy when this happened.

That moment alone has me very confused about how this was THE book of 2025?!
I was so excited to read it and it’s one of my least favorite books I’ve ever read. The mc was racist and selfish and I felt like I wasn’t reading the same book everyone raves about
