Still really on the fence with this short story collection. A disappointing slow start.
Thankfully there are a handful of gems now as I near the halfway point, particularly from C. Robert Cargill and Joe Lansdale who have made outstanding contributions. But there are some really questionable stinkers as well. Why the F*CK is there a story about mermaids I'll never know.

Still early days on this collection, not getting through as much as I had planned for today there was no rain, I'm British, this is a big deal, the sun was out - for what felt like the first time in 87 years - and now I'm sunburned to hell.
Going to hopefully run through this collection in the next few days. My early thoughts slightly disappointed so far sorry to say.
