"[Margaret] became the first member of the royal family to visit people with AIDS - but no one noticed." It's interesting who the media chooses to pay attention to - and for what.

"The queen's approach to central heating - 'if you are cold, put on a sweater'" This just confirms that Europeans are crazy when it comes to any form of climate control. And it suggests their climate is ridiculously mild, at least compared to that of 90% of the US.

"Margaret was always served first at mealtime, and no one could speak unless first addressed by her. If she did not eat a certain food, no one else could." Wait...no one could speak at all, or could they just not speak to her first? And the thing about no one being able to eat food she didn't like is absurd. I'm getting a better idea of why we broke away from reading this.
