Sophia Charlotte on her death bed at only 37: “Do not pity me, I am going at last to satisfy my curiosity about the origin of things which even Leibniz could never explain to me, to understand space, infinity, being and nothingness” 😭

Omg Sophia Dorothea—THE TEA 😭😭 this crazy affair then her father in law had the dude killed, then they showed her affair letters to her husband George I saying he was an “awful lover” and she was locked up in a castle for the rest of her life and never allowed to see her kids or anyone again omfg. Which made George I hate his kids esp his son George II what a terrible cycle of unhappiness
