It’s WEIRD to hate a CHILD for not being willing to die to take down a government they don’t even fully understand. It’s blowing my mind how hateful everyone is to Sonya because of her parents. Katniss would be judging y’all.

This book is like what if president coin did get to rule panem after mockingjay & all the capitol kids got arrested just for existing in the world their parents made & everything was still pretty awful but differently so. Like a post dystopian world where katniss wasn’t there to save the day. All governments are evil. This book is STRESSFUL and UPSETTING and SO GOOD.

People who read this book and see Sonya as the bad guy give me the same vibes as voting for the capitol’s children to be put in a new version of the hunger games at the end of mockingjay. Blaming a child for the evils of her parents is such a weird take lacking in all nuance. She’s not perfect but she’s not a villain.
