As a psychology student I am appalled by this. Our main character, a supposed sex therapist, is transphobic, extremely judgemetal towards her patients and disrespectful and treats them as nuisances. At one time she says the name of one of her patients! She has many cliches about the field. One of her patients is portrayed as a threat. The author seems to be cynical and bitter and write herself into the main character
