Meh, disappointing. Its rambly and doesn't have a strong through line apart from "oh wow this person was in Switzerland" and "wow! This person was in Switzerland and they were Australian". Some of the information is interesting and well-written, but it needs to be tied together with a stronger narrative. Needs to take some lessons from Rebecca Solnit's The Faraway Nearby. Or maybe a pale imitation of it.
