What a jump back in time with this fantasy author you can tell the 1970s fantasy writing style with how long the prologue is and how dry the writing is compared to todays modern fantasy but you know what that long prologue even though it is verbose gives a good backstory before the main story takes off and the villian shows herself toward the end of the prologue and I honestly cant wait to see where this book goes
