random ass (and kinda mid imo) sex scene, ivy locking in from her little moment, i guess i can handle it

mid chapter update because ivy is driving me crazy. if a man who doesn’t GAF started writing a tv script including my passion, i would swoon. how is him combining your work with his passion ‘making a mockery of it’ ??? chile anyways🙄 sal also needs to die. immediately. i hate him enough for messing with conrad using dawn’s death but involving hudson is wayyyy to far

never mind, conrad is giving me the ick. he got so weirdly aggressive (in the angry sense & in the pushy sense) out of nowhere?? you’d think that the time would make him less volatile but it really isn’t. at the same time, i kinda understand that he’s feeling a little desperate for his life back & ivy is making him happy for the first time since dawn died & he doesn’t seem to really be healing, but still. ew.

i’m enjoying the book so far! the first five chapters were a bit of a struggle to get through for me, but once ivy & conrad met, things picked up well. i really like the different portrayals of how grief is effecting conrad & ivy, two widow/ers falling in love is something i’ve personally never seen in a novel & it’s made me want to read more of it. i also love to see ivy interact with hudson, he’s adorable
