It was so hard reading about what Lassiter did- I was hoping it was just Davina lying about what happened. And I’m surprised Balthazar is partially leaving the fight/vampire world.

Poor Nate- this scene of him seeing Lassiter and Raven is so sad and touching. Such interesting and numerous resurrections and games. I liked the twist of Lash (or whoever else was the son of the Omega) coming back from death/torture and him being Davina’s “true love”- I don’t think she can really love but who knows- maybe…

I love that Lassiter is reading Brené Brown. I had to Google her to see what she writes about. Looks like some is about women and shame- so I totally see why Lassiter is reading these books! And I can’t wait to read his story- I think it’s next in the series (I still am reading the Fallen Angels series and really liking it, too).

Ha- V making up fake dialogue about lawn maintenance for the Renaissance art painting battle scene on the ceiling of the mansion’s foyer is so hilarious! LOL
