Thank you to the author for sending this ARC. I wonder if they've taken some inspiration from The Pitt, because this sounds like a Hucklerobby situation, but if Whitaker was a cowboy, which isn't far off, because he's from a farm. Either way, the setting in an emergency room should be very cool and I already am liking what I've read about John so far!
