‘Every beeping social interaction feels like an audition.’ That line pulled me back up after falling because of every audition. Spoiler* Im autistic. That will stay with me forever, if I ever stand up to the bullies that will be the line I use because they need to hear it. But not as much as I did.

Im sorry but George has to have to have the best reason imaginable for firing Jonah instead of Simon because Simon is a cowardly, selfish pig. 🐷 Sorry, it’s true. He was discriminative, disgustingly unkind and just completely incorrect. He broke the rules in giving their names and the law with discrimination. He needs to be arrested.

You and your little beeped up brain. Words I say to myself over and over and over (except stupid not beep). The anger and despair I felt at reading those words enlightened me that thats I should feel towards myself, disgust for saying that. Because it’s wrong and reading about autistic individuals proved that to me in so many ways.

It’s so enlightening reading about the acting industry and so cruel showing what the media will do just to be nosy. Innocent, talented people are completely dehumanised and that’s honestly just disgusting the way the work works that way. Whilst this book is a difficult read, it’s an important one. 📽️🎬😣

The representation of neurodiversity is done so tenderly but in such a raw way. It’s crystallised through metaphors constructed by the simplest of things shaped anew into something magnificent and breathtaking. This book is a work of art and a masterpiece. An automatic five star read. 📽️🎬📖❤️🥰🫣
