One of those books where I definitely feel like the prose is the star. I really like the overall plot so far but can’t say I like all the narrative choices that have occurred. Also continuously hearing “she’s a child” makes it hard for me to try and ignore the major age gap “romance” in this book when the MMC himself uses that phrasing. But the writing is beautiful. Sorry Taryn.
