I’m really no liking this very much, I’m not connecting to the story or the characters much at all, which is sad because I was really looking forward to reading it, since most other people seem to like it. I still like it enough to finish the book so we’ll see how that goes!!

This book is definitely very atmospheric, but the relationship between Hana and Keishin definitely seems a bit insta-lovey (I’m beginning to sense à teen among the books lately) otherwise I’m enjoying it!!

I’m a little confused with the plot right now because I feel like the switch to the day before is a bit confusing but I really like this so far!! The writing is very lyrical and whimsical and so far the idea of the pawnshop is really cool!! I don’t understand how it works entirely yet but that’s because this is fantasy and it takes a while to understand the world building!!
