It started off really strong! I was HOOKED. But starting at about Chapter 24 or so, I went from enjoying how the author explained the intricacies of medical/science/math/numbers stuff to becoming distracted by how the writing is clearly aimed at inexperienced readers. The Goodreads rating of 3.31 tells me it’s not going to improve if I keep reading.
