I’m in now
I still find myself skimming over the tales/songs because I just don’t care enough to look for the foreshadowing or relevant history in them. It’s made progress through a bit easier.
I have gotten used to the style of world building but I also skim those parts still as I find the way Tolkien does this to be too much.
