Sorry but Annie is getting on my nerve. Her asking Ms. Lullabelle if she could be her “daughter” for a few days annoyed me. Like I get it, we all get it by NOW but girl…… and my thing is, how did she think Niecy probably felt when she found out that her “cradle” friend took off without even the courtesy of even telling her? Just ugh

This book is written beautifully, but this book also further confirmed for me that literary fiction just is not the genre for me.

Bobo has been really patient, but truth be told although Isaiah may not understand the depth of everything, I would have socked him too. Now here we go all OVER again…. 🫩
