thank you re this one :) tho I'm feeling ambivalent/mixed about it, and i am frequently thinking of abandoning it :/
there's some interesting things in it (when he talks about temperate rainforest), but alot of stuff that isn't (when he talks about him and his partner, and friends, and blah blah...).
he also comes across as being pretty ignorant, and dismissive and disrespectful, of Druids and other Pagans, and of Herbal Medicine :/

Yes, he is rather a name dropper of people he knows! I thought that was because he was attempting to give proper credit/damnation where it was due, but if he's doing it here, then it's a habit of his.
Probably, he's best with the political and legal end of land welfare, not the spiritual or traditional end. Which, if memory serves, he doesn't seem the type to have any interest in.
