Is it just me or is the whole scene of her “earning her sword” very similar to Violet getting her dragons at threshing ?

Seriously ? —- is suffering a slow and painful 💀 and asks her to unalive him and claim his dagger. (Doing it would be mercy and she straight up says “I can’t” when she straight up just went on a rant about her unaliving the gods ?

Okaiii — I am beyond lost other than she has a magic dagger. Her mentor survived the trial thing whatever and the captain is basically a scary guard dog with a giant magical sword

If I don’t like this — everyone will be receiving my spam complaining about it !
