So many similarly-phrased reviews for this book is odd to me—the majority of those who’ve reviewed have no other reviews and the fact that I recognize none of them from JAFF community reviewers. Not saying the author is not legitimate, as his biography seems he is so, but these reviews just seem rather off to me. The audiobook has just been released with Elizabeth Grace narrating, so I’m going to judge for myself.

It is suspicious that all those 5-Star reviews are from reviewers who are new to reviewing and GR. "Friends of Author" perhaps?

Possibly, but it’s also the similarity of phrasing of many of the reviews that raises a red flag for me. Bots?
