This book suffers from the same flaws most authors seem to run into with heroine in captivity FMCs. The heroine has spent her entire life in captivity with very limited social interaction. Yet her behavior and thoughts about the world and about social standards don’t truly reflect that background. “Most people are life this, but I’ve never been that way” girl, how do you know?
