After reading/watching sm as realistic in how being gay is treated and ostracized and creates self doubt and hatred (Heated Rivalry) its so refreshing to read something where it just IS, you know? Ive never gotten to read a book as realistic in that sense as HR, so it’s nice to delude myself that the world isnt terrible in this fictional fantasy book for a second after that.
(Nothing against HR btw, it’s amazing)

Just wanted to say that I called Quint and Harristan from, like, the first interaction they had last book. Just an fyi.
(I also called him being the Outlaw from like his first chapter as the outlaw. Just needed everyone to know that 🤪)
