With sustained effort, I will be translating this book. I have the French of an Anglo high school freshman: this is equally a project to improve my French and an undertaking for intense relation with every word. I completed one poem so far (am sure I will have to return to it once my French is better--perhaps in a month) But I am finding that I have to hang to every single world as it reveals itself to me. Fabulous.
