Most importantly- I’m reading this anthology via downloads of the original issues of Dime Detective where the author Norbert Davis & his wisecracking, independent dick originally appeared.
The first story is Latin’s origin tale, “Watch Me Kill You”. Goofy plot complications, dumb “twist” ending, fun reading.
