I had seen in a podcast, a woman talking about her grief. Though she said that she had wished those deaths never happened, she also said that her pain allowed for a newfound depth in feeling. For others and for herself. She didn’t know she could hurt this bad, but she didn’t know she could smile this hard either. I think Baldwin figured out the same thing.
