I am SO GLAD I re-read this book. 3 1/2 years later and still 5 stars! Complex magical world, complicated well developed characters, a wonderful romance that isn't the focus of the entire plot (love that). Had it been a stand-alone book, I still would have loved it, but knowing that I now get to read the sequel - even better. If you like fantasy/mystery/romance, you will love this. I cannot recommend enough.
