Halfway through Soldier of Mist. Enjoying the way Wolfe is playing with historiography and opting for more restrained prose. A really welcome change for me from Wolfe after the baroque style of Citadel of the Autarch. It’s a breath of fresh air to read some historical / mythic fiction about Ancient Greece that feels so literary.
