I love female authors. Very cozy, compassionate, whimsical read so far. The only real issue I have with it rn is kind of this implicit eurocentric/unnuanced view of humanity..? like “human universals” that I’m not convinced are actually innate to the human condition. Real humans are already so complex that i feel like a lot of scifi with aliens flattens humanity a little too much
