The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is the funniest book I’ve read since Don Quixote (of which it shares many similar themes) Tom Sawyer is a great and affecting character in his own right, but Huckleberry Finn steals the show as it’s his redemption that forms the beating heart of the novel.
