This is not medicine. This is triage in a mass grave that has not yet been dug. Do not mistake this for a humanitarian emergency. This is not a famine. It is a siege. It is not collapse. It is calculation. It is not neglect. It is intent. And intent, cold and deliberate, makes it a crime. The women who collapse in my arms are not statistics. They are executions carried out in slow motion.

And the world? It watches, calculates, and discusses whether the bombing is proportional, as though morality can be measured in tonnage. This is not strategy. It is spiritual anaesthesia. They have reduced suffering to ‘cost’. They speak of ‘acceptable casualties’, as though children were decimals on a ledger. You see, the new face of evil does not wear blood on its hands. It wears a lanyard and carries a clipboard.

The hospital is surrounded now. Not by men, not by soldiers even, but by machines. Drones, humming above like metallic locusts, devoid of soul or pity. They know neither suffering nor mercy, they are the purest expression of obedience without conscience. They circle the building like vultures circling a carcass not yet dead enough.
