Cookologists always ranting and raving about how great Beaglehole is… yes his main contribution is from editing the Journals but way too interested in boring shit that doesn’t matter (what was charted on what day and which direction the ship was facing) and dismisses the actually important and interesting stuff (intercultural interaction).
