This might sound odd but this is the most accurate portrayal of OCD I've ever read/listened to. I didn't realize that was a component going into this book. The all containing, constantly distracting and disruptive, compelling, terrifying, and disgusting nature of it... Horror is honestly the perfect medium to show what it's like. Speaking from experience.
