I honestly wish this were three separate books and not an omnibus but it was a kindle offer so I can't really complain.

I have just finished the first Inspector Montalbano mystery, 'The Shape of Water', and I while I enjoyed the pacing of the story I understand why it might be rated lower than later stories, due to its stilted and sometimes rather confusing narrative structure. Nevertheless, a good start.
